Today marks 14 weeks pregnant. I am beginning to get less and less nervous. I am finally showing. I may get brave and a take a picture and post it. It has been really neat.
The last several weeks I have been on a shopping spree buying maternity clothes. I start back to school in a week so I needed some summer clothes. I have found some really good deals. I never knew maternity clothes were so cute! I have already started wearing the clothes because they are so comfortable.
I am starting to feel the pressure to get organized and get everything ready for this little baby. Phil and I are both very excited and can't wait until January. Right now our due date is January 20th.
We have started discussing names. We are already having a hard time agreeing with a name. Do you have any suggestions? Post a name or e-mail a name. We need all the ideas we can get.

It’s good news again! Dr. Youkilis had no trouble finding the heartbeat today. Phil and I both heard it. It is amazing how God creates life! We have officially made it to the 2nd trimester. I will go back to see the doctor at 17 weeks. Then at 21 weeks we will have an ultrasound to determine the gender. If you believe the rate of the heartbeat can determine if it is a girl or a boy then we are having a girl. We’ll see if this is accurate in 8 weeks.

10 weeks and Counting
Phil and went to the doctor today for my first official prenatal appointment. Everything went fine but the doctor still does not want to get us excited just yet. We did hear the heartbeat and the heart is beating just like it is supposed to beat. In fact I think the doctor's face had a bigger smile than my face. We still have 2 weeks to go until the 2nd trimester.

I went for another ultrasound and we still have a strong baby with a strong heartbeat. We actually heard the heartbeat loud and clear today. We are getting more and more optimistic everyday. We have 5 more weeks to go until the first trimester is over. Prayers have helped us through and we still need them.

If you look closely you can see the placenta attached to the baby. It is the bottom circle. You can see it better when you enlarge the picure by clicking on it.
