10 weeks and Counting

Phil and went to the doctor today for my first official prenatal appointment. Everything went fine but the doctor still does not want to get us excited just yet. We did hear the heartbeat and the heart is beating just like it is supposed to beat. In fact I think the doctor's face had a bigger smile than my face. We still have 2 weeks to go until the 2nd trimester.

7 weeks

I went for another ultrasound and we still have a strong baby with a strong heartbeat. We actually heard the heartbeat loud and clear today. We are getting more and more optimistic everyday. We have 5 more weeks to go until the first trimester is over. Prayers have helped us through and we still need them.

A Little Scare

This morning I woke up to a little scare with some spotting. I went in for another ultrasound but everything looks normal and we saw a heartbeat and faintly heard the heartbeat. We are not out of the woods yet. I have another ultrasound schedules for next week. Keep praying.


6 weeks 

Here is a picture of our ultrasound. I am 5 weeks and we could see a faint heartbeat which was so cool. Everything looks good and it is just a wait and see thing. Keep praying! 

We are Pregnant!

Last Thursday Phil and I were very surprised to find out we are expecting. It is still early I am barely at 5 weeks but we are very excited. I have a higher risk at miscarriages due to a chromosome abnormality so I was a little nervous to tell people so early but I figured people couldn't pray about it unless they knew about it. So keep on praying!! My doctor, Dr. Youkilis has been keeping a close eye on my hormone level and so far so good. He is going to do an ultrasound on Friday and I will get to meet with him then.

It is still early and a lot could happen in a few weeks. I know there is still a possibility I could have a miscarriage but I still have the Gift of Hope!

Happy Easter 

The Results Are In!

Well my test results are in! There is absolutely no sign of Hodgkin's. Phil and are completely thrilled with the news. We were so worried. I tried to call to get the results early but the doctor hadn't read the results and I was told to call back at lunch. As I went back and forth whether to call or just wait until my appointment I decided to wait. Once in the room we had to wait another 30-45 minutes in which Phil was pacing the floor. There must be a better way to get back test results!

God is good ALL the time!
